I could not confirm these reports from Jiangao Ruan (report_jr_20230916075512) and Zesheng Yang (report_zy_20230130053308). Also, there was a report from Zhouyang Chen (report_zc_20220728102853) that was a repeat of non-group comet SOHO-3790. (I realize that the confirmation list on the site is a little out of date. I have a few updates and changes to make to it, including some group membership changes for certain objects. I hope to get that done in the next few weeks. I also want to update the discovery tables and at the very least provide the x,y coordinate files for all comets. It will happen, I promise...)

If you have any reports in your list that you think I have missed, please send them to me. I will do archive reports again one more time -- probably in January, or at least sometime shortly after you find SOHO-4900. And then I will probably not do any more archive confirmations until after SOHO-5000 (except in very rare cases, and only if there is a compelling reason to do so).

I will work on September and October confirmations soon.
