• SOHO4924: #5783 and #5784 (and C2 report in #5787)
• SOHO4925: #5790
• SOHO4927: #5798 and #5799

A couple of other notes, and please correct me if you think I am wrong on any of these:

• The comet reported by Jiangao (#5794) is the return of P/2002 R4. It was also reported on the Sungrazer site.
• I cannot confirm report_ht_20231113111056 (Hanjie) -- i just cannot see anything there at all.Dec 18 Update: I see it now. Added as #4940.
• I also cannot confirm report_zy_20231114085347 (Zesheng and Jiango). I see the first three positions perfectly but then it completely disappears. I think it was just well-placed noise, and not actually a comet.
• And I also cannot confirm report_jr_20231128110434 (Jiangao) -- I see nothing after the first two positions.

I am sure that you are all quite aware that we are rapidly approaching SOHO-5000. As most of you know, when we get close to major events like this, I stop counting archive reports and only focus on "realtime" comets (or near-realtime, at least). So now would be time for you to send me any archive reports you have if you want me to look at them before we reach #5000. At the end of this month (or maybe early January) I will do confirmations for any remaining archive comets, and then no more until after SOHO-5000 (except perhaps under special/unusual circumstances, but I do not think that likely). I do have one report from Qicheng Zhang on 2023-10-25 to look at, which I think is indeed real, but that is currently the only SOHO archive comet I have. If you think I am missing one of yours, please let me know soon!
