Dear All,

Once again, far too long since there was any "red ink" on this
page. Comet ISON and other things have taken far too much of my
time but over the next few weeks I plan to get everything back
up to date again. I'm going to kick things off with some very
long-awaited STEREO confirmations.

I want to thank Trygve in particular for sending me occasional
updates of STEREO discoveries posted to the STEREOHunter website.
Even if I don't get chance to reply to such messages, they are 
hugely appreciated and extremely helpful to me.

The "MSG#" refers to the message number on the STEREOHunter chat 
group.

There were two comets reported on msg #2075 but I can only confirm 
the first of the two. Not enough observations for the second one.
Also can not confirm the two "new" objects reported on #2086. There 
may be something there but it's not enough for me to be able to
measure/confirm.

In the past there has been a little confusion about STEREO reports
and confirmations, so for the moment please consider the above as
preliminary and please contact me if you think there's an error in
there (likely...)

In the meantime I'll get going with the SOHO confirmations. If 
anyone happens to have a list of "confirmed" SOHO reports for any of
the past couple of months, that would be very helpful... :)

Long-term, I am getting a summer student this year who is going to
be helping me with the comets. I'm leaning towards testing out
astrometrica for reductions (at least for STEREO) as Man-To and 
Rainer both have had good results, and the software I use right now
is slow, buggy and generally awful. I'll provide more details on 
this in the coming months.

I appreciate everyone's patience, and your continued efforts even
when it seems nothing is happening on my end. I promise that the 
project remains funded and active, and all discoveries will be 
cataloged and recorded.

Oh, and already I realize I haven't included C/2014 C2 (STEREO).
I guess that should be STEREO-57, and Trygve's Kreutz bumped to
STEREO-58.
