The "N/A" is becuase this comet was the reappearance of comet 
C/1999 X3 = 2004 E2 = 2008 K10 (SOHO). 
The archive comet reported by Bo Zhou is almost certainly a real Kreutz
but I just can't get enough good images of it to be able to measure it.
Thus it gets x-comet status.

I will do September confirmations next week.

Dear All,

As I am sure many of you are aware, the Washington DC region is about to get hit
pretty hard by Hurricane Sandy. Depending on how bad things get, we may lose
power to our web-servers and thus the Sungrazer site will be down. So please have
a backup plan to email me your comet reports.

As I mentioned once before, if our mail server goes down, you could start getting
"bounced" emails from me. If you're concerned about that, you can send reports to
sungrazercomets [at] gmail.com

Note that the nearby NASA/GSFC is also well in the line of this storm, so the main
SOHO site could possibly lose power, in which case there won't be any LASCO data
processed until things get back to normal.

Myself, I am staying safe at home and plan to remain here until Wednesday. Right
now it's just cold, wet and windy here, just west of DC. Later today is when it will get 
ugly.

Dear All,

I just received an email that says all SOHO data servers have been
powered down as of 1600UT today, due to the storm we are currently
experiencing. That is where we get our real-time data from, so this
means that you probably are not going to see any new SOHO data for
at least 24hrs from now, maybe longer. I do not have a timescale on
that. (It will depend on how bad things get here, I suppose). 
Anyway, I'll let you know things as I hear them (assuming I retain
electricity at home!).
