SOHO-LASCO Comet Reports for 200809

Welcome back everybody!!! :)
This new site will be the temporary home of the sungrazer site for at
least a few weeks.  We will eventually move back to the old server, 
but it will be a while.

I think I have fixed most of the dead links on this site but if you
find you can't access something, try replacing "ares" with "uap-www"
in the url and it should work. Please let me know immediately if you
find any dead links, missing images, or if the reports form is not
working properly.

Note that there are some reports missing from the end of August.  I do
have those reports but they probably will not appear on the site until
we go back to the original server.  There were not any comets among 
them.

I have taken this opportunity to add a new functionality to this page.
When you submit a "Confirming comet" option, your report *should*
appear in blue font!  This is to make it easier for me (and you) to
see at a glance if any comets have been confirmed recently. I think I
have also managed to fix the bug that meant that some reports appeared
'double-spaced' when viewed in Firefox.

The only other thing I should mention is the the "comments" forms are
not currently working, so if you want to submit a comment of some kind
you will just need to email it directly to me (which you are always
welcome to do).

Many, many apologies for the inconvenience of the site being down and 
thank you for being so cooperative during this time.
I will hopefully post confirmations later today.

Something I meant to mention yesterday but forgot... When you submit
comet reports, you will see some kind of an error message at the bottom
of the 'thank you' page.  Please ignore this message!!  As long as you
see the "your report has been logged as..." message, then you are fine.
I will try and fix that bug eventually but it's a low priority right
now.
