I've looked at all unretracted claims, so if your name isn't
above, you didn't find a comet (or you found someone else's, as
is often the case)!
Regarding Tony's Meyer group, it seems fine to me. Shame there aren't more positions, but I see no reason to call it an X-Comet.
However, it has been mentioned that the orbits can be unreliable
near the edge of the fov. So if any of you think there is a case
to be made for it being an X-Comet, let me know. I guess one
option is for me to do the astrometry on it and see what Brian
makes of it. I'll leave it 'as is' for now until someone requests
otherwise.
Regarding Rainer's bright C2 Kreutz (756) I couldn't find it in
C3 so I'm guessing it was hidden by the pylon.

IPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING COMET C/2004 F4 (Bradfield)
This is for the benefit of those who may not be aware. We are
expecting thr transit of a bright comet in C3. Due to limited
observations, it is impossible to accurately predict when this
will happen. However, what we believe is the following.
The comet will enter C3 in the lower/lower-left part of the field
of view either late today (UT) or tomorrow. We think it will then
travel up and to the right of the Sun, with closest approach to
the lower-right of the Sun on or around Sunday 18th. It will
leave the C3 field of view on or around the 19th/20th. It's peak
brightness is predicted to be 1 - 2mag.
All of the above are our best estimates, but the error-bars on
this one are pretty substantial...
